Size: 260 × 99 mm. Date, payee, first words line and figures use your measured positions. Payee runs from 47 mm to 164 mm from the left edge (117 mm available). Long payee names automatically use a smaller font to fit on one line. Y is the top of the text box. The second words line starts 10 mm from the left, within the 50–60 mm vertical band, and ends before the amount-in-figures field. A paper alignment test is still required. Only entered text prints. The cheque artwork and signature are not printed.
Epson L3251: create a User-Defined paper size in the Epson driver: width 99 mm, height 260 mm, then select Portrait in both the printer settings and browser print dialog. Print at 100%, with margins set to None and headers/footers off. Feed one sheet, printable side up, 99 mm edge first. Use plain paper cut to the cheque dimensions for the first test. The template rotates the text automatically: feed the LEFT short edge first (the end opposite the date and signature). The print preview should show one tall page, with sideways text. Do not select Landscape. If the custom size is unavailable, select it in the full Epson printer preferences first.
Before printing: open More settings and turn OFF Headers and footers. The preview must contain one page only, without a title, URL or page number. Confirm custom paper 99 × 260 mm, Portrait, margins None and scale 100%.
All positions and field sizes are locked. Payment details remain editable. Long payee names still shrink to fit. The first words line spans 2.4–12 cm from the left; enter extra words in the second line.
Individual X and Y positions below are measured from the cheque’s top-left corner. Positive values move text right/down. Enter the amount in words yourself and check it agrees with the figures.
